Patrizio Bucci

Patrizio Bucci is an Italian dance artist based in Maastricht. His work spans performance, choreography, teaching and cultural organising, between the Netherlands and Italy.
He currently teaches movement at the Toneelacademie Maastricht and performs The Embrace, a duet choreographed by Marika Meoli and Joost Vrouenraets, in theatres and public spaces across both countries. In Rome he leads PROTEO ETS with Raffaella Appià and Tommaso Petrolo, and together they co-direct COORDINATE Festival in the medieval village of Calcata.
Trained at Centro di Danza Balletto di Roma, he began performing in Italy before moving to the Netherlands in 2011 to join Noord Nederlandse Dans. From 2013 to 2025 he was a core member of SALLY Dansgezelschap Maastricht as dancer, choreographer and artistic coordinator.
His approach is intuitive and collaborative, built on connection, musicality and the intelligence of the body.
